Bistro Sorrento

The practice is particularly meticulous, the taste is also beyond expectations, and it is really good.

Family-run Osteria with the grandparents in the kitchen and their amusing son Mimmo in charge of the front of the house that  offers very good local cuisine and a nice selection of wines from the Campania region. Their specialities include the zesty tomato soup, the home-made ravioli and gnocchi, fresh fish and seafood and a choice of Neapolitan desserts, including the lemony delizia. We were there for lunch on New Year&rsquo;s Eve, and the place was packed with dozens of sociable seniors who we assumed were locals but who turned out to be a large group from Florence on a coach tour. Go for the good food and convivial atmosphere!

Taverna Azzurra was great.   We sat in the beach seating with views of Vesuvius and Naples.    The food was wonderful.  Most had the fisherman&rsquo;s risotto which had more seafood than rice and tasted amazing.   Servers were very pleasant and patient and all spoke English.  There are other restaurants on this beach and some were more crowded and noisy but I am glad we chose this one which was also recommended by our abnb host.

Hands down the most wonderful and memorable dinner of my life. Exquisite tasting courses, and each course was prepared beautifully and absolutely delicious. Service was impeccable. The kitchen prepared a gluten free tiramisu that took me to heaven.

Lovely restaurant with a warm welcome. Definitely for steak lovers. We had enough meat to feed 4 so be careful with size as there was a look waste.

A great little find. The aged beef was delicious. The staff were amazing &amp; they even offered us a lift back to our hotel when we were done!

Easily one of the best meals I have ever had the pleasure to eat. We missed the offer of a lift from Sorrento centre and walked uphill for 15mins and every step was worth it! Stylish and comfortable interior with exquisite food. The staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable. We are not new to good steaks but welcomed the advise from the owner as well as advice and information about our wine choice. Every morsel was delectable, I especially enjoyed the selection of salts that came for us to season the steak to our liking - I will be hunting down blue salt as soon as possible. The homemade limoncello was beautiful and the cheesecake dessert I would have paid twice the price for. This beautiful bistro deserves every accolade. Thank you so much, we visited to celebrate my 40th birthday and it was an experience I will always remember.

We loved this restaurant!  Friendly service, reasonable prices, and fantastic food.  I don&rsquo;t think I&rsquo;ve had a better steak anywhere and the cavati pasta dish was simply delicious.
